This book aims at providing ideas and discussion points on the main contemporary challenges of undergraduate EM education, was perfectly timed. It consists 13 chapters, partitioned into four parts. The introductory part in Chapters 1 2 presents book’s general motivation philosophy; reviews designing curriculum, course syllabus, teaching environment, learning experience; motivates development tools approaches for interactive engaging learning. Following outline Chapter 1, focuses two primary axes Kolb’s four-stage cycle: experiential conceptual second (Chapters 3–6) exper iential aspect. 3 explains cycle demonstrates it through a case study an advanced program that includes progression design analysis project tasks, with various industrial outcomes. examples students’ projects their feedback process are used to assess approach’s effectiveness. Although carefully curated philosophy mind, does not advocate one approach, nor impose rigid paradigm. is more snapshot thought education newly available techniques, suggested by peers, which serves as substrate further discussion. Indeed, my urge while reading bring up these topics colleagues immediately sparked some very passionate intriguing conversations. Evidently, achieves its aim: ever-continuing among teachers students bettering our field.
